International Exchange Seminar Evidence Based Practice

Evidence based practice (EBP) in social work is discussed widely and linked to different models or practices. We would like to invite you to a one-day international seminar, on Monday 24 October 2011 in Utrecht, the Netherlands, to exchange EBP models and practices which are relevant and deserve attention. The seminar deals with the different kinds of questions that arise in this domain:

• criteria for selection of models and practices
• which evidence base
• the role of the client/citizen
• the use of evidence in practice
• limitations of EBP

These and other questions we want to discuss in the seminar, including the possible answers.
