Prekäre Wohnverhältnisse sichtbar machen und die Wohnungsfrage in der Sozialen Arbeit partizipativ verhandeln

Abstract

This article focusses on the political-participatory theatre project Housing for ALL. Linked to this is the question of how the specific approach of the project could contribute to critical-political, solidarity- based and participatory social work and thus proactively counteract the so-called “return of the housing question”. The project was characterised by the combination of scenic and participatory approaches and the special attention given to the perspective of people who have experienced precarious housing conditions. In addition, networking and cooperation with professional and civil society actors played a key role, especially when it came to analysing and developing solutions for affordable, humane and needs-based housing in Graz and Styria, as well as political intervention and participation.
