Abstract
In recent years, the topic of diversity has become increasingly important in profit and non-profit organizations and is now recognized as a central aspect of human resources development. This article addresses the question of how diversity can be defined at the Sale for All youth center, what kind of diversity adds value for the children and young people and how a more diverse group can be recruited to volunteer. In addressing these questions, the article develops concrete measures for strengthening and anchoring diversity. Additionally, it contributes to raising awareness about the importance of promoting and supporting diversity within the youth center. Implementing the proposed measures can enhance diversity in the volunteer management of the youth center and contribute to the creation of a more inclusive place in Vienna.
