Die (Weiter-)Entwicklung sozio-digitaler Kompetenzen in der dualen Berufsausbildung

Abstract

This article provides insights into the development of a concept for teachers and trainers to teach digital skills in dual vocational training. It was developed by a team from the Ilse Arlt Institute for Social Inclusion Research in the context of the year-and-a-half project “Digital Spaces” in collaboration with young people and training professionals. The article discusses the significance of digitalization and socio-digital inequalities and their relevance for young people. It then presents the research project and its methodological approach. Subsequently, it outlines relevant aspects from the development process and presents the concept in its basic outlines. In this context, digital skills are understood on both a technical and a social level. Finally, the article summarizes the experiences of applying the concept and the implications for its use.
